For New applications ConF1gure-it will work closely with System Architecture to identify the environment configuration requirements and software configurable items.

ConF1gure-it will agree the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with Architects, Developers and Production Support personnel, produce a Life Cycle schematic and document the process to migrate code through the environments.

ConF1gure-it will produce environment schematics; build the environments, test and document.

ConF1gure-it will agree the backup/restore criteria and service levels, test and document.

ConF1gure-it will use your existing Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool set or work with you to do product selection. (We do not endorse any particular SCM tool set.)

ConF1gure-it will set up and maintain environment directory structure and tool set security.

For Existing applications ConF1gure-it will perform an audit ensuring that: -

ü the current production system can be recreated from the program source

ü there is a recognised SDLC

ü there is environment integrity

ü Processes and Procedures (if any) are being followed
